Chesapeake Bay Boat Charters

Enjoy an hour or a day on the water with Rappahannock River and Chesapeake Bay boat charters, and specialty cruises departing from the Tides Inn.

Captain Gene offers two-hour packages that celebrate sunset, stargazing on the Rappahannock, or "Feeding Time" on either side of low tide. Half-day Chesapeake Bay cruises feature a Sandy Point picnic or beachcombing on Mosquito Island, while full-day cruises sail to either Tangier Island (with an island or tiki bar stop along the way) or past the historic lighthouses of Mobjack Bay with beaching at New Point.

Climb aboard the Miss Nicole, a historic Chesapeake Deadrise, and cruise or fish the waters of the Northern Neck for a half day, evening or full day. Or enjoy a one-hour couples cruise, a 1.5 to two-hour lunch or dinner or sunset cruise, or a four to six-hour day cruise to the historic town of Urbanna for shopping and dining. (Beverages and snacks are provided on all cruises.)

Create memories in the Chesapeake Bay and Northern Neck with a private "Treasure The Day," "Blue Water Therapy" or "Sunset" cruise including snacks for your party. Or choose your own skippered Chesapeake Bay charter for a morning, afternoon or full day -- if your group has more than five people, charter two identical boats and have fun racing each other to your lunch destination.

If you'd like to charter a special cruise, consider a four-hour lunch trip or two-hour evening cruise to Urbanna. Enjoy a one-hour Cocktail Cruise including wine and beer from 5-6pm, and extend it from 6:30-8pm Friday nights during the Crab Cruise. Or board the City of Fredericksburg paddle-wheel for a lunch or dinner cruise including a buffet, captain's narration and DJ music with full bar available. Friday and Saturday nights offer a dinner/dance cruise with DJ or live music for dancing the night away.
