Windmill Point Beach Party Luncheon — Wednesday
Prepare for an afternoon on the beach by packing sunscreen and your swimsuit. The fish fry aboard the Miss Ann will take you to Westland Beach, where the Rappahannock River meets the Chesapeake Bay. Here, you will board the Tides Inn shuttle boat to the beach for a cookout of fried or baked fish, fresh corn, steamed crabs and hushpuppies. An afternoon well spent.

Whiskey Run — Saturday
A past tradition will be revisited as the Miss Ann travels across the Rappahannock River to the historic port town of Urbanna. This is where guests in the 1950’s–1970’s were taken to purchase the alcoholic provisions that would be consumed throughout their stay at the Tides Inn due to local laws in Lancaster County. This is now an excellent opportunity to discover a new town and enjoy unique shopping and an array of eating choices.
