Corporate Teambuilding Events in Virginia

The Tides Inn offers a wide variety of unique activities to build camaraderie, improve communications and create cohesion within your organization. Following are just a few of the many teambuilding possibilities:

Sailing Race
Sailing, and in particular racing, is a natural team building experience. No previous experience is needed -- the resort's partner sailing school organizes everything and puts an experienced instructor on each boat.
Carters Creek Treasure Hunt
Decipher the clues and solve the riddles that will lead you to where "X marks the spot." Afterwards, your group can share the triumph of having worked their way through the mystery...and enjoy the reward.
GPS Geocache
This live game of lost and found requires attention to detail and careful team interaction. Blindfolded and dropped off at an unknown location, you follow the way points programmed inside your GPS navigator.
Glow in the Dark Golf Challenge
If your group comes alive at night, this is the thing to do! Challenge your opponents to a fun, one-of-a-kind putting match at the nine-hole executive course onsite.
Horse racing
Cheer your horse to victory in an exciting game that everyone in your group will love. Test your luck while playing this traditional parlor game, a long-standing Tides Inn tradition.
The Boat Regatta is based on the notion that teams can build a boat from a few meager supplies, and design it to win a bona fide regatta "at sea" -- carrying one passenger.
Culinary Create-A-Meal
It's time to cook up a storm and exercise your creative abilities. Begin with a 30-minute demonstration from the Tides Inn Chef, who will get your creative juices flowing, and let the flavorful fun ensue.
Social Responsibility
For growing communications and teamwork while building awareness and benefiting a particular cause, the Tides Inn can work with various partners to customize a teambuilding program that gives back, or add components of volunteerism to already established agendas.
