The Tides Inn welcomes your wedding celebration. Knowing that this event will be one of the most important days of your lives, we strive to exceed expectations for service, and quality of food and presentation. We offer a full range of specially prepared menus, cocktails and wines, wedding cakes and more. Please keep in mind that along with a rehearsal dinner and wedding reception, we have venues available for a Bridal Party Luncheon, Farewell Sunday Brunch or perhaps a Welcome Event on The Historic Miss Ann Yacht.

Our 127’ historic yacht, Miss Ann, built in 1926 is a unique venue for a welcome party, rehearsal dinner or wedding reception. Utilizing the upper and lower decks, she will comfortably hold 60 people for a dinner buffet or 100 people for a cocktail reception. The cabin is climate controlled and restrooms are available on both decks.

We are happy to help arrange on board entertainment for your event. It is available for private charter when not in use for regularly scheduled resort events.

Cap’n B’s located on the Golden Eagle Golf Course, is designed after a home located in New Orleans. Like the people of Louisiana, the staff is well known for their southern hospitality and eager to entertain honored guests. Maximum capacity is 100 people for a reception and 75 people for a buffet or plated dinner.The large veranda is perfect to welcome your guests followed by dinner and dancing in the “great room”.

Our Par 3 Golf Course is located at The Tides Inn and can be utilized for outside wedding receptions. A buffet dinner or elegant hors d’oeuvre party may be arranged. We will be happy to assist with the rental of the tent and other banquet items for your event. We are able to host  outside events until 10:00pm.

This is the most elegant of the dining facilities with a panoramic view of The Tides Marina and Carters Creek. This unique room will allow music and dancing until 11p.m.  Maximum capacity is 200 people for a reception and 150 people for a buffet or plated dinner with room for a band and dance floor.

This beautiful room overlooks Carters Creek and our Croquet Lawn with outdoor access to a patio. This is a perfect location for a bridal luncheon, small wedding reception or Sunday brunch for groups up to 50.

The Spa at Tides Inn
The Spa at the Tides Inn will assist with any manicure, pedicure needs as well as a relaxing facial or invigorating hot stone massage to prepare for your big day.

Food & Beverage
All food and beverage is subject to 20% Service Charge and 5% Virginia Sales Tax. Prices quoted herein apply to 2007 and are subject to change until confirmed with an Agreement.

Floral Design
We can recommend local floral shops that can design arrangements to your specific needs. Members of our Sales and Catering Staff can also assist you with specialty linens, chair covers, photographers, and wedding cake providers.

Entertainment
We are happy to use The Tides Inn’s agent to arrange musical entertainment and assist you in finding a band to suit your style and budget. If you prefer to hire the entertainment directly, please provide us with the name and telephone number of the group three weeks prior to the date of the event so we may discuss space and technical needs for the performance.

Local Area
Northern Neck is home to many denominations of churches, as well as a variety of retired ministers still licensed to perform marriage ceremonies.  The Tides Inn can provide names and numbers of churches and ministers. The Tides Inn is also convenient to historic Christ Church, which hosts many weddings throughout the year. The Historic Christ Church Foundation, at (804) 438-6855, can make the arrangements for use of this facility (for any denominational wedding).
