What Our Guests Are Saying

  • "This is our fifth time staying at Tides Inn. Since our first time in 2018, we knew this place was perfect for us. We always had a beautiful waterfront view from our room. In addition to the pool and beach area, there are a number of wonderful spots where guests can sit, relax, and view the water. My ultimate dream is one day to bring all of our children and their children here together to create a family memory."

  • "We arrived by boat and had an excellent experience with the marina staff and service. The docks are well maintained and easy to negotiate. We enjoyed the same level of professionalism, courtesy and service inside!"
    Pat M
  • "A quaint resort located right on the water. Breathtaking views, attentive staff, great food. I had a little break from normal life and felt very pampered during my stay. I was able to take a kayak and a bike to explore the surrounding area. You can lounge by the pool and be served food and drinks, just like you’re on a tropical island. Highly recommend!"

  • "The Tides Inn is so special. The staff was so attentive and helpful. Our meals were excellent. We swam, kayaked, biked, ate, drank and ate some more. We also played bocce, relaxed, bird-watched, read, worked and just had the absolute best time. We can’t wait to return!"

  • "Beautiful grounds with friendly staff. Highly recommend a visit. Took a boat cruise with Stormy and saw the creek. Had a nice dinner out on the patio looking over the river. New boardwalk around the water was great! We will be back."

  • "Blown away with the Chesapeake Gold experience! Will Smiley is an expert in ecology and sustainability. His infectious passion delivers a very accessible and tailored educational experience; it'll engage your heart and mind. After dinner, we cozied around the bonfire on the beach and gazed at the stars. I will dream about this place forever."
    Tina W
  • "Impressed by friendliness of all staff. Food at both restaurants was fresh (oysters, flounder, blackened salmon), and some from local farms. The beehive experience was informative and enjoyable. Miesha at the Spa is phenomenal as well as Malina who can answer all your questions. Theresa in the Maker Space is so friendly; I suggest joining one of her art classes."
