Wake up wonderfully with a morning bicycle ride around the quaint town of Irvington, or enjoy a leisurely afternoon ride on one of our complimentary bicycles. Men’s, women’s and children’s bicycles are available.

Parlor & Garden Games

When you stay at the Tides Inn, you’ll enjoy all the comforts of home with fun parlor and garden games throughout the resort. Please inquire with an Activity Director for equipment or to reserve an experience prior to arrival. Some activities are seasonal and may be an additional fee. Bocce Ball

Enjoy a game of bocce ball on our outdoor lawn area. The bocce ball game involves aiming bocce balls toward a target called the boccino. Bocce ball equipment is available at our Activity Center for all guests.


Allow us to set up a friendly game of cornhole for you and your family or friends. Enjoy cornhole on the beach or around our lush garden landscape. Cornhole, or bean tag toss, is a popular lawn game in which players throw bean bags into a raised platform with a hole in the far end. The objectives is to reach a score of 21 before any other player.


Pickle Ball

Grab a paddle and hit the court for an exciting game of pickle ball, the perfect combination of tennis, badminton and ping pong.

Parlor Board Games

Discover classic board games like pirate bingo, horse racing, chess, scrabble and other traditional favorites in the comfort of the View Room. Settle into a comfortable seat in front of the fireplace as you take in water views from the floor-to-ceiling windows.

Beehive Experience

Explore a day in the life of an apiarist with our beekeeping experience. After a short walk through the new nature trail to the wildflower field, you will meet with our resident beekeeper for a brief introduction on the most vital pollinators, the European honeybee. Opening your eyes to how it feels to be inside an apiary, the beekeeper teaches you about the extraordinary life of the honeybee. This workshop will conclude with a honey tasting of local, raw honey.
