This spring, The Tides Inn embarked on a shoreline restoration project that will deepen our connection to Carter’s Creek and the greater Chesapeake Bay region.
The $3.6 million project includes a “living shoreline,” oyster reef, beach restoration, hands-on educational programming and community partnerships, especially with Friends of the Rappahannock (FOR).
Learn more about the shoreline project and its environmental scope by visiting our Sustainability page.
Please join us on Friday, June 18, 2021 at the Tides Inn to celebrate the restoration of the waterways of the Northern Neck and have an opportunity to help in the process of creating a living shoreline.
