65th Urbanna Oyster festival

Friday, November 4 from 10am-8pm Saturday, November 5 from 9am-5pm

The Urbanna Oyster Festival hosts over 50,000 people over two days to celebrate the oyster. Join the town for the Fireman Parade, Oyster Festival Parade, Oyster Shucking Contest and more. Enjoy a Virginia wine tasting or craft brew tasting for $10 each.

Corks & Oysters Weekend at Good Luck Cellars

Saturday, November 12 and Sunday, November 13 from 11am-6pm

Good Luck Cellars presents oyster dishes, wine pairings and live music from 2nd Sole and Travis Colby, local artisans and more. The Salty Bob Oyster & Seafood Co food truck will be on site both days with a variety of local seafood options.

Irvington Turkey Trot

Thursday, November 24 from 9am-12pm

The 22nd Annual Irvington Turkey Trot is a scenic run, jog or walk through Historic Irvington, a “must-do” family event for the Thanksgiving holiday. This annual fundraising event is organized by the dedicated volunteers of the Irvington Village Improvement Association.

Countdown to Christmas

Saturday, November 26 from 5pm-6pm

At Kilmarnock’s Town Center Park, family and friends gather as we count down to Christmas. Enjoy festive holiday lights, cookies, cocoa and caroling. Everyone anticipates the arrival of a “very special guest,” who will be arriving in festive fashion.
